Enjoying the view while your toddler is running ar Enjoying the view while your toddler is running around can be hard.

That's why we brought a picnic set from @lovevery play kit on a hike with us.

Martin gets to practise pouring, we hydrate, and then Michal and I get to enjoy a quite moment as well. Win-win!

I can see he's like his parents and always chooses the more fun and adventurous route.

However, should I be worried that he purposely rides over roots and difficult terrain at 2 years old? Or embrace it and carry a first aid kit in my pocket? πŸ™ˆ

πŸ’› Our smiley has brought so much joy into our lives that I still catch myself staring at him while he sleeps and thinking Michal and I created the most precious boy in the world.

πŸ’› Martin is a very smart, strong and independent little boy (even though I still call him my baby).

πŸ’› He loves cleaning and tidying anything and everything whether he's inside or outside. He's very kind and gentle around other kids and when he says mama, my heart is melting.

πŸ’› Happy birthday Martin πŸ₯³

I've been waiting for this moment for 7 months πŸ₯³

Imagine living through 7 months of winter, then seeing spring flowers and greenery from March on Instagram only, and then finally at the end of May, a gorgeous piece of water thaws so you can finally enjoy spring as well!
Excitement levels were through the roof!!

What is your favourite spring activity you're looking forward to all winter?

We're fortunate to have the Rockies just an hour's We're fortunate to have the Rockies just an hour's drive away, and therefore we've done more day trips to Canmore than I can count.

But the last time, we spent a few nights at @stoneridgemountainresort just so we can breathe the mountain air a bit longer.

It was the best decision, for a family like ours especially!

We were super stoked to have a king suite (instead of a room) because we had:
β˜†a separate bedroom so we could enjoy an evening while our son slept
β˜†living area with a fireplace to feel cozy
β˜†fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast meal package so no need to rush out the door in the morning

While we were looking for spring flowers in Canmore, we got a snowstorm instead. But who cares when you have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub to enjoy in any weather!

Now tell me, would you stay here?

Many thanks to Stoneridge Mountain Resort for hosting us and making our time in Canmore so enjoyable.
How does your self care look like? Getting a tan How does your self care look like?

Getting a tan by the lake with mountain views is all I need to recharge (alone 😜).
