As you can already tell, we are very outdoorsy people. On the ground or in the water, we want to try it all. Mountain biking is our passion since I can remember. And upon our move to Canadian Rockies where you can’t bike as easily (as the name tell they are Rockies), we are also hiking a lot.

Every year we try something new and it always seems to be outdoors. Whether it’s stand up paddle boarding, ice climbing or kayaking on a double kayak. Can’t wait which new activity we will discover this winter.

Pictured above is Michal hiking on Cavell Glacier in Jasper National Park. Ever since I started an Instagram account, where I share our best travel moments, it’s been also my main source of travel inspiration. List of things to try and places to visit is growing thanks to these gorgeous travel instagram accounts:

Daniel & Audrey @uncornered_market

This american couple traveled all around the world, literally, all continents.Β They are passionate about travel photography, experiences with locals, sustainable tourism and personal growth.

I like seeing their broad spectrum of activities while traveling. Volunteering in Estonia, 10-day mediation retreat in Malaysia, hiking in Albania, traveling the Silk Road from Georgia to China, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania… And exploringΒ less visited places, such as Kosovo, Turkmenistan, Honduras, Bangladesh, Latvia, Paraguay, Rwanda, Antarctica and many more.

True outdoor adventurers! Sea-kayakers, back-country skiers, scuba divers, rock-climbers, kite boarders…I often enjoy their pictures for inspiration while planning our own trips.

They just finished sea kayaking expedition in Canadian Northwest Territories as a part of The Aurora Project and are headed to Iceland next.

“Our goal is to sleep more nights in our tent this year than under a concrete ceiling… Not the loftiest of goals but one that we’re sure will make us happy just in trying.” – Roberto Gibbons Gomez

Johnny @onestep4ward

Johnny is an Irish guy who made his dreams come true. By working hard on his travel blog, he is proudly self-employed and enjoying his freedom.

Whether it is swimming with sharks, sky diving over volcanoes or jumping between continents to see the whole world. Right now his mission is to travel to every country in the world – 165 out of 193 done. As of today, he is in Ghana making the way around African continent.

I love seeing his pictures from places I wouldn’t probably visit. But don’t forget to read the captions, too. He is meeting so many nice people along the way and sharing their life stories with us.

Miriam @adventurousmiriam

On top of the world in Lovcen National Park, Montenegro. Such a pretty view from here. Fotka uverejnenÑ používateľom Adventurous Miriam ✈️ (@adventurousmiriam),

Fearless Danish girl who travels extensively around South-east Asia and Europe. Her colorful feed will let you wonder around all the places you can still visit…

β€œWhenever something scares me, I dare myself to do it. I face my fears and learn from them. Like, when I was 23 and dead terrifiedΒ of sharks, I paid a local fisherman in Malaysia to take meΒ to a shark reef to swim with them.” – Miriam Risager

I miss Europe a lot and sometimes my mind wonders in all the places Miriam is visiting – lakes and waterfalls in Slovenia, old castles in Croatia, beaches and nice architecture in Latin America.

Kristin @bemytravelmuse

Solo traveler from California. She is globetrotting for a few years now. Some of her best adventures include hitchhiking solo across China or becoming a Buddhist nun for 10 days.

β€œI came to realize over time that talking to locals, ditching guides and group tours, and always taking local transportation immersed me in the local culture and showed me the real parts of theΒ countries I was visiting – things that tourists almost never get to see or understand.”

I enjoy her pictures from mountains in Europe, ocean in her homeland to desserts in Africa.

Lesh & Jazza @nomadasaurus

Two months have come and gone here in Mongolia, and it has been an incredible ride. We’ve rode camels in the Gobi Desert and hung out with fascinating reindeer herders in the North. Camped by lakes, in meadows of wildflowers and at the base of mountains, horse trekked through towering pine forests and stayed with nomadic families. We hitchhiked across the country with a couple of Kiwis in a giant overlanding truck and made new friends for life. We made plans to buy our own horses, but then found ourselves on a different path (check out our latest article explaining why). Hiking in national parks, climbing sand dunes, the adventures never ended. We also pulled our hair out at the unreliability and confusion of the transport system and struggled at times with the attitudes of the locals. Mongolia is not an easy place to travel, but that’s what makes it all the more special. Perhaps Mongolia has made it as one of our all-time favourite countries, but we will need a few weeks to reflect on everything that has happened here. For now we will re-enter China and start to make our way towards Kazakhstan. Thank you to everyone who followed along on our journey through Mongolia! Now it is onto the next adventure. #thankyou #goodbye #adventuretravel #Mongolia #exploremongolia #enjoymongolia Fotka uverejnenΓ‘ pouΕΎΓvateΔΎom NOMADasaurus (@nomadasaurus),

Always looking for off-the-beaten-paths during their travels. This Australian couple is currently traveling overland from Thailand to South Africa.

β€œFor years we have wanted to explore the Karakoram Highway on the road to Pakistan, and last week we did just that with the incredible Old Road Tours. Five days of trekking, driving, wandering and admiring started off at Karakul Lake – quite possibly the most beautiful place we have seen in the entire country! Kyrgyz families reside on its shores while yaks roam freely through the countryside. If you haven’t thought about putting Western China on your bucket list, it’s time to add it now!” – Lesh & Jazza

They finished the leg of their journey through China and Mongolia. Next stops include the countries from Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Not the typical tourist destinations and I’m looking forward to see this part of the world through their pictures.

Did a solo ascent high in the Cascades two days ago. Can anyone guess this classic PNW summit?

A post shared by Elise 🚁 (@roundtheworldgirl) on

American girl with an enormous love for mountains. She is living an active lifestyle..hiking, climbing running, kayaking or back-country skiing.

β€œI sometimes receive the kindest messages here on Instagram from people who say I inspire or motivate them in some way. And though I appreciate the words, I’m honestly just an average girl doing slightly above average things in pretty places. The fire comes from within us all, and you are the inspiration.” Elise

She is mostly exploring Pacific Northwest and now Iceland. Her pictures of towering peaks, emerald lakes and waterfalls are simply stunning.

Two friends constantly pushing boundaries of their comfort zone on bikes. They biked the highest road in the world in India, crossed Iceland and enjoyed endless roads in Australia.

“IcelandΒ really is a world of its own. It’s a land of extremes and it can be quite confronting when you first arrive, armed only with a bike and a backpack. The howling winds, impossibly low summer temperatures and perpetual daylight is like nothing I have ever experienced. If you’re looking for a relaxing cycling holiday I honestly don’t think you could choose a less suitable destination. For us though, it was exactly what we were after. ” – Jason & David

I agree with them that the mountain views are most enjoyable from the saddle of your bike. Once you put the effort in to bike up the mountain, you deserve the ride down with the full speed. Check out their youtube channel to see their rides.

Samantha & Yeison @mytanfeet

Paradise at San Blas Islands, Panama. I think another trip here is in order… Fotka uverejnenΓ‘ pouΕΎΓvateΔΎom Samantha and Yeison (@mytanfeet),

American – Costa Rican couple living on the beach in Costa Rica. They travel across Central America and explore around their home in Costa Rica.

β€œSamantha shares her personal experiences as an expat in Costa Rica, Yeison shares what it’s like to travel from a Tico perspective. Together, we share what it’s like to explore the world as a multi-cultural couple seeking out the best travel experiences.” Samantha & Yeison

Get your daily dose of beaches, sunsets, jungles and exotic animals. Anyone who likes the beach life would not be disappointed.

Liz @youngadventuress

Her travels started when she studied in Spain and then moved there to teach English. Now she lives in New Zealand.

β€œI’m not going to lie, as much as it sucks traveling from summer to winter, I’m happy to be home in New Zealand surrounded by snowy mountains that I love and the best views in the world.” – Liz Carlson

LizΒ is a very talented photographer and I enjoy the beautiful scenery in New Zealand she is mostly posting, with occasional beaches in Australia or wildlife in South Africa.

These are just few people I like pictures of. Live by their motto:

“Do more of what makes you happy.”

Get outside and create your own album of memories. With or without your camera, remember to have fun!

Would you like to visit any of the places pictured above? Where did your last adventure take you? Let me know in the comments.
